Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and mission-oriented Client Educator to join our mission-driven team and empower women through education about their bodies. In partnership with our center staff, the Client Educator will be trained to provide basic, age-appropriate education in body literacy, cycle tracking, and fertility awareness to females starting ages 9 and up. This role is central to helping women and girls understand, value, and care for their bodies through science-based, dignified, and empowering instruction rooted in our center’s mission to bring light to women’s healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver individual and/or small-group body literacy instruction that touches on anatomy, puberty, menstruation, hormone health, and cycle tracking.
● Provide developmentally appropriate instruction tailored to age, background, and learning style.
● Use visual aids, handouts, apps, and cycle charting tools to support learning, as provided by the center.
● Collaborate closely with center staff to ensure a welcoming and educational environment for all clients and families.
● Offer compassionate support to girls and women who are navigating changes or challenges related to their reproductive health.
● Educate clients on non-hormonal methods of understanding fertility and cycle patterns, when appropriate.
● Help clients understand and track physical and emotional patterns using evidence-based, values-aligned frameworks.
● Maintain client confidentiality and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and center policy.
● Assist in developing and updating educational materials and workshops.
● Attend training on The LOVE Approach and reflect its principles in all client interactions to help clients feel seen, heard, and respected.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in health education, women’s studies, nursing, counseling, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
● Experience teaching, mentoring, or counseling women and/or adolescent girls in a clinical, parish, educational, or nonprofit setting.
● Understanding of female reproductive health, fertility awareness methods, and body literacy principles strongly desired, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
● Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
● Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, or comfort level working with a translator as needed to instruct clients.
● Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail).
● Compassionate, patient, and affirming approach to sensitive topics.
● Alignment with the center’s values and mission to affirm the dignity of every woman and girl through natural, evidence-based care.
Working Conditions:
● Hybrid position
● Will include outreach events or community education sessions.
